Who would have picked the Billikens over the Cardinals??? Must have been a wild game. I agree with Chili, that it will be hard to beat them after that loss. Did you know that Louisville has never been ranked NO. 1 during the regular season, even though they have won the national championship a couple of times?
KU vs Iowa State this Saturday. KU should handle them, but I hope they don't go to sleep. We celebrate 105 years of basketball, and we invite all the past players and coaches to attend. It is quite a spectacle seeing all of these guys in one place.”

“Kansas AD, Al Bohl is getting into hotter and hotter water. Fresno State is being investigated for players buying college course work. It seems that an alumni from Las Vegas was footing the bill to get some players through college without them having to study.
There are other allegations, also, and the rumors are flying hot and fast around here that Big Al will have to go. It is coming out that Roy Williams doesn't like Al Bohl, and that could be the kiss of death for anyone at the university, let alone for any resident of Lawrence, KS. They stop your car at the city limits here, and ask you if you love Roy Williams. If the answer is no, you get a police escort to the next county.”

I wonder how much respect the Big 12 is going to get, this year? This is a league that is really beating up on itself, and could have a better non-conference record, (read: Jayhawks).
Personally, I wish the Big 12 didn't have a conference tourney.”

“Slay is really beginning to improve his play. I don't think UT has the depth to cause a big stir in the tourny, but then again I see UT and Memphis being about evenly matched at this point in the season. Memphis probably has a little more depth in the backcourt.

Dunadan, I read where we stole a recruit from KU 6'11" Steven Hill from Branson,MO. We have 2 top 20 rated guys coming in next year along with a 7' 300 lb. guy. The Hogs will be back. Stan Heath is da man.”

And....congratulations, Chili. In the tradition of loving basketball in Kansas, the Memphis-Louisville score was being constantly posted on our scoreboard as the game went on. It caused a lot of conversation in between screaming for the Jayhawks against Colorado. (Another one bites the dust!)
I was thinking that Calipari's mob ties must be stronger than Pitino's. How else you gonna beat those guys on their home court? Seriously, the Tigers just out-worked the Cardinals. Look at the rebounding edge, and I think you can get the story of this game.
Who is gonna come out the winner of the ACC??? The two strongest leagues, IMO, are the SEC and the Big Twelve, but they aren't far ahead of anybody. I think I will fill out my brackets this year with a blindfold and a dartboard.....
And.....what's up with the Big Eleven?”
