If All-American shooting guard Brett Nelson finally finds his shot (except for LSU he has been a non-factor so far this year), Florida gets better. If Christian Drejer (who was courted by the NBA) recovers from his foot injury and stops looking like a deer-in-the-headlights freshman, Florida gets better. If redshirt freshman Adrian Moss continues to improve, Florida gets better. If 285lb Mario Boggan continues to lose a few pounds and gain confidence, Florida gets better...

9,000 the other night against the San Diego State Aztecs. That was a women's game. The Aztecs haven't had that many at all of their home games combined! Men's draw 14,000 on a slow night.

With less than 1,500 tickets remaining the women's basketball team is hoping for their first sell-out crowd since March 28, 2001.

On Saturday, February 1st, the UNLV Lady Rebels invade University Arena and the University of New Mexico is hoping to welcome them with 18,018 rabid fans.

Did you read about us honoring Norm Stewart, (long-time former coach of Missouri for those who aren't familiar with him) at Allen Field House? It was hilarious, and I think Norm appreciated it. Roy Williams has a lot of class to bring in the formerly hated Norm and giving him his kudos.

I remain confident that Calipari will get them to gel at the right time. I feel like they are a sound tournament team and an upset could be in the making.

Tigers beginning to look better. Impressive showing against Southern Miss and ECU. Easy wins, as they should have been. This team is beginning to return to the form that beat Illinois and Syracuse.

I agree that no team should want to be ranked No 1 this season. It just puts a big bullseye on you.
The NCAA tourney is probably going to be one of the least predictable in history. The winner could come out of any region. I love it that way.

They named it "Bramlage Coliseum", and it is truly a nice venue. However, the Jayhawks have never lost there, and we call it "Allen Fieldhouse West". It bugs the sh_t out of the K-State folks.
Anyway, K-State is playing better this year, and this might be a close game.”
