        FRANK!!

Currently playing in my head.....

Think I'll go out to Alberta
Weather's good there in the fall
I got some friends that I can go to working for
Still I wish you'd change your mind
If I asked you one more time
But we've been through that a hundred times or more

Four strong winds that blow lonely
Seven seas that run high
All those things that don't change, come what may
but our good times are all gone
And I'm bound for moving on
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way

If I get there before the snow flies
And if things are going good
You could meet me if I send you down the fare
But by then it would be winter
there ain't much for you to do
And the wind sure blows cold way out there

Four strong winds that blow lonely
Seven seas that run high
All those things that don't change, come what may
but our good times are all gone
And I'm bound for moving on
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way

Tile - Set this string for two days and you can see her picture, again. Or, use Feb 2008 in: A Prairie Home Companion show archive. However, you may have to wait a few days or even until March.

He take the thunder from the mountain
He take the lightning from the sky
He bring the strong man to his bended knee
He make the young girls' mama cry

You got to hidey hide
You got to jump and run
You got to hidey hidey hide
The old man's down the road

He got the voices speaking riddles
He got the eye as black as coal
He got a suitcase covered with rattlesnake hide
And he stand right in the road

You got to hidey hide
You got to jump and run
You got to hidey hidey hide
The old man's down the road

He make the river call your lover
He make the barking of the hound
Put the shadow across the window
When the old man comes around

You got to hidey hide
You got to jump and run
You got to hidey hidey hide
The old man's down the road
The old man is down the road
The old man is down the road

and now onto...."Break Stuff"

Its just one of those days
When you don't wanna wake up
Everything is #&%!$ ed
Everybody sux
You don't really know why
But want justify
Rippin' someone's head off
No human contact
And if you interact
Your life is on contract
Your best bet is to stay away mother #&%!$er
It's just one of those days!!

[chorus]
Its all about the he says she says bull#&%!$
I think you better quit
Lettin' #&%!$ slip
Or you'll be leavin with a fat lip
Its all about the he says she says bull#&%!$
I think you better quit talkin that #&%!$
(Punk, so come and get it)
Its just one of those days
Feelin' like a freight train
First one to complain
Leaves with a blood stain
Damn right I'm a maniac
You better watch your back
Cuz I'm #&%!$ in' up your program
And if your stuck up
You just lucked up
Next in line to get #&%!$ ed up
Your best bet is to stay away mother #&%!$ er
Its just one of those days!!

I feel like #&%!$
My suggestion is to keep your distance cuz right now im dangerous
We've all felt like #&%!$
And been treated like #&%!$
All those mother #&%!$ ers that want to step up
I hope you know I pack a chain saw
I'll skin your ass raw
And if my day keeps goin' this way I just might break somethin' tonight...
I hope you know I pack a chain saw
I'll skin your ass raw
And if my day keeps goin' this way I just might break somethin' tonight...
I hope you know I pack a chain saw
And if my day keeps goin' this way I just might break your #&%!$ in' face tonight!!
Give me somethin' to break

this song probably isn't healthy

And I will ride till my fingers they are down to the bone,
Wander 'till I can't remember my own home;
Drink 'till I don't know the meaning of alone;
Until that bullet flies to carry me home.
'Til that bullet flies, that bullet flies, that bullet flies, that bullet flies to carry me home.

Man, if you haven't heard Devil Makes Three, I highly encourage you to pick up their first, self-titled album. It just kicks all sorts of ass. Ragtimey, blues, country, folk stuff. Two guitars (and sometime banjo or mandolin) and a stand up bass. Simple goodness and their lyrics are just fantastic.

Oh, and they are GREAT live.

Down in Neptune's kingdom, in the ink black drink,
Octopuss bartenders, you can hear the mermaids sing.
That'll teach you all to try and disobey, here's a one way ticket your watery grave.
And we say,

To all our enemies, we'll see you in hell;
We're gonna walk 'em off the plank into the wishing well.
Down in Davey Jone's locker where the fishes sleep,
Won't be prayin' for you, so don't be prayin', don't be prayin' for me.

Good stuff!!!
