Radio Paradise on Shoutcast.com is rocking away this AM. Far flung, familiar and not so. Old and new.

I just bought the newst CD by Kevin Martin and the Hiwatts. I was always a big Candlebox fan and this CD is as good as any of his Candlebox stuff. Plus the CD's only $10.

LOL at Nigal on Rent. I took my son to New York City to see some theater (his choice for a Birthday trip) in August 2001.

We saw rent and loved it(although even for me, it was a little too self-conciously PC). A nice re-working of a classic story and a fine soundtrack.

We also learned an interesting lesson on account of that thrip. We had planned on buying our discount tickets to Rent at the World Trade Center and doing all the tourist stuff there. I messed up setting the hotel alarm clock and we got up later than planned. We decided to skip the WTC and get our tickets at the Times Square discount outlet. I figured, we can always go to the World Trade Center next time. Within a month, I was proven wrong. Lesson: There are far fewer things in this life that we can count on, than we think.

My wife went to see Rent and diod the whole sitting in line for the $20 front row seats and loved it.

The dinner theater here is doing Jesus christ Superstar. I'd like to go see that. Live theater rocks.

Listening to the new Disturbed CD. I’m impressed. The last CD was just too bland and there was a sameness that ran through the whole CD without a break. This one is more diverse like The Sickness was. It’s very anti-war/anti-Bush. I normally don’t care for musicians and celebs giving me their pov on such things but I don’t really get too much through on this CD. The political bull chit is bearable.
