Sorry to get all Solitary on ya. I never really liked Fred Durst -- and now I have a legitimate reason for my dislike. It seems that the group held a search for a guitarist and would be visiting Guitar Center stores around the US to hold auditions. Well, guess what happened? At one of the many places, these unknowing hopefuls were signing three-page contracts stipulating that they had to play a song of their own creation; it could not be copyrighted; and could be used by Limp Bizkit in any way the group wanted. Basically, Limp Bizkit was authorized to steal these guys' music. To make a long story short, the guys waited for hours, then played, then hung around the parking lot waiting again. After about 12 hours, they were told that Limp Bizkit would not be coming, the whole ordeal was canceled, and they had to leave the premises immediately. So what's the outcome? Well, Limp Bizkit now has over 200 guitar works, written by various unknown artists, which are unowned and not copyrighted. Basically, Limp Bizkit stole 200 pieces of material from these guitarists. So if you're a guitarist who's thinking about trying out, let this be a warning: Fred Durst is a rat and he wants your cheese.” 8:29:26 AM 2/14/02 “Brother Cain this AM. She will be doing a few wild stunts at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas May 20, including jumping the Grand Canyon and swallowing nickels. Not since her famous hang-gliding stunt of 1989 has she put her all into a stunt to make the public say, "What the hell?" Joan is still quite the consummate showperson, and she certainly knows how to wow 'em!” 8:42:02 AM 2/14/02 “I picked up Eric Sardinas' new CD "Devil Train" and after three hours straight I must say that I am absolutely stunned and speechless.
