For Sure, NS. The VA hospital and clinics here are drawing veterans from hundreds of miles away now, as others close. It *is* shameful.

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane -
Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn -
world serves its own needs, don't misserve your own needs. Feed it up a knock,
speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height,
down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for
hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies
breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered
crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population,
common group, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its
own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the
reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright
light, feeling pretty psyched.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn,
return, listen to yourself churn. Lock him in uniform and book burning,
blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle,
light a motive. Step down, step down. Watch a heel crush, crush. Uh oh,
this means no fear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament,
a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives
and I decline.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

The other night I tripped a nice continental drift divide. Mount St. Edelite.
Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Breshnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs.
Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic,
slam, but neck, right? Right.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine...

Ooooh you cannot reach me now
Ooooh no matter how you try
Goodbye cruel world it's over
Walk on by
Sitting in a bunker here behind my wall
Waiting for the worms to come
In perfect isolation here behind my wall
Waiting for the worms to come
Waiting to cut out the deadwood
Waiting to clean up the city
Waiting to follow the worms
Waiting to put on a black shirt
Waiting to weed out the weaklings
Waiting to smash in their windows
And kick in their doors
Waiting for the final solution
To strengthen the strain
Waiting to follow the worms
Waiting to turn on the showers v And fire the ovens
Waiting for the queers and the coons
And the reds and the Jews
Waiting to follow the worms
Would you like to see Britannia
Rule again my friend
All you have to do is follow the worms
Would you like to send our coloured cousins
Home again my friend
All you need to do is follow the worms.

A song for Ice Tea
There i was completely wasting, out of work and down
All inside it's so frustrating as i drift from town to town
Feel as though nobody cares if i live or die
So i might as well begin to put some action in my life

Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law

So much for the golden future, i can't even start
I've had every promise broken, there's anger in my heart

You don't know what it's like, you don't have a clue
If you did you'd find yourselves doing the same thing too

Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law

You don't know what it's like

Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law
Breaking the law, breaking the law

Breaking the law

SnowDude got me a iPod, and uploaded it with country (I like country). So I've been listening to it all day.

I didn't know how to turn it off, so I started playing around with it and found the playlists. There was a one called "For my Valentine" with a bunch of love songs.

That's so sweet!

Turn around, don't whisper out my name
For like a breeze, it'd stir a dying flame
I'll miss someone, if it eases you to know
So close the door lightly when you go

Who was the one that stole my mind ?
Who was the one that robbed my time ?
Who was the one who made me feel unkind ?
So fare thee well, sweet love of mine

Take your tears to someone else's eyes
They're made of glass
And are cut like wounded lies
Memories are drifting like the snow
So close the door lightly when you go

Don't look back to where you once hade been
Look straight ahead
When you're walking through the rain
And find a light
If the path gets dark and cold
And close the door lightly when you go.

I've flown around the world in a plane,
I've settled revolutions in Spain,
The North Pole I have charted,
But can't get started… with you.

Around the golf course I'm under par,
And all the movies want me to star,
I've got a house, a showplace,
But I get no place… with you.

You're so supreme, lyrics I write of you,
Scheme, just for the sight of you,
Dream, both day and night of you,
And, what, good does it do?

In nineteen twenty-nine I sold short,
In London I'm presented in Court,
But you've got me downhearted,
'Cause I can't get started… with you.

I do a hundred yards in ten flat,
The Prince of Wales has copied my hat,
With queens I've a á-là-carted,
But can't get started… with you.

The leading tailors follow my styles,
And toothpaste ads all feature my smiles,
The Astorbilts I visit,
But say, what is it… with you?

When we first met, how you elated me
Pet, you devastated me,
Yet, now you've deflated me,
'Til, you're my Waterloo.

I've sold my kisses at a bazaar,
And after me they've named a cigar,
But lately how I've smarted,
'Cause I can't get started......... with you.

"I Can't Get Started With You"
Written by George & Ira Gershwin for the Ziegfeld Follies of 1936.
Recorded by dozens of bands and artists over the years, it is a
classic of the big band repertoire.

Everytime that I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face gettin' clearer
The past is gone
It went by like **dusk** to dawn
Isn't that the way
Everybody's got their dues in life to pay

I know what nobody knows
Where it comes and where it goes
I know it's everybody's sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Half my life is in books' written pages
Live and learn from fools and from sages
You know it's true
All the things you do, come back to you

Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter sing for the tear
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away
(x2)

Dream On, Dream On, Dream On,
Dream until your dream come true
(x2)
Dream On, Dream On
Dream On, Dream On
Dream On, Dream On,
Dream On,oooooooooooooooooooohhhhh

Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter sing for the tear
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away

ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY
(Ian Hunter)

Well the times are gettin' hard for you, little girl
I'm a-hummin' and a-strummin' all over God's world
You can't remember where you got your last meal
And you don't know just how a woman feels

You didn't know what rock and roll was
Until you met my drummer on a grey tour bus
I got there in the nick of time
Before he got his hands across your state li-i-ine

Now it's the middle of the night on the open road
The heater don't work, and it's oh so cold
You're lookin' tired, you're lookin' kinda beat
The rhythm of the street sure knocks you off your feet

You didn't know how rock and roll looked
Until you caught your sister with the guys from the crew
Half way home in the parking lot
By the look in her eye, she was giving what she got

My, my, my. I'm once bitten, twice shy, babe
My, my, my. I'm once bitten, twice shy
My, my, my. I'm once bitten, twice shy, babe

Woman, you're a mess, gonna die in your sleep
There's blood on my amp and my Les Paul's beat
Can't keep you home you're messin' around
My best friend told me you're the best lick in town

You didn't know that rock and roll burned
So you bought a candle and you lived and you learned
You got the rhythm you got the speed
Mama's little baby likes it short and sweet

My, my, my. I'm once bitten, twice shy, babe
My, my, my. I'm once bitten, twice shy
My, my, my. I'm once bitten, twice shy, babe

I didn't know you had a rock and roll racket
Until I saw your picture on another guy's jacket
You told me I was the only one
But look at you now, it's dark, and you're gone

My, my, my. I'm once bitten, twice shy, babe
My, my, my. I'm once bitten, twice shy
My, my, my. I'm once bitten, twice shy, babe

I've never hiked and listened to any music. Sometimes, when hiking with folks that won't shutup, I might wish I did. Out of respect for the wild life I also don't sing. The forest creatures have enough problems.
