The first one was the only one I liked. Silverchair was the same way.

Stabbing Westward. I'm feeling angry and dangerous today!

I was listening to World Café` on NPR yesterday and they had Living Color on. Wow! They are sounding GOOD! I might have to go check out their new CD. I think they even do a cover of Back in Black.

No one likes us-I don't know why
We may not be perfect, but heaven knows we try
But all around, even our old friends put us down
Let's drop the big one and see what happens

We give them money-but are they grateful?
No, they're spiteful and they're hateful
They don't respect us-so let's surprise them
We'll drop the big one and pulverize them

Asia's crowded and Europe's too old
Africa is far too hot
And Canada's too cold
And South America stole our name
Let's drop the big one
There'll be no one left to blame us

We'll save Australia
Don't wanna hurt no kangaroo
We'll build an All American amusement park there
They got surfin', too

Boom goes London and boom Paree
More room for you and more room for me
And every city the whole world round
Will just be another American town
Oh, how peaceful it will be
We'll set everybody free
You'll wear a Japanese kimono
And there'll be Italian shoes for me

They all hate us anyhow
So let's drop the big one now

Let's drop the big one, now....

O.A.R. is good ...the whole cd is befinitely worth the money..."crazy game of poker" seems to be the most popular right now...

That Was A Crazy Game Of Poker
by O.A.R.

Album : The Wanderer

Ohh myyyy
20 throw down in my fist of rage
and the man to my left has folded down
well johnny doubled up with a royal flush
i had three jacks and a pair of nines
my mind is turning - just two shots more
there's not much left to play
well then dude walks in, black hat on top, what a mop
i'm lucky wasn't a county cop cause i'm just runnin out of time

Who's up for game two
what to do
my wallet's gettin thin
and i just lost my watch last night
well i gotta problem
just one answer
gotta throw it all down
and kiss that #&%!$ goodbye
Yeah!

That was a crazy game of poker
(That was a crazy game of poker)
I lost it all
(I lost it all)
but someday i'll be back again
And I, never to fold.
never to fall

Who's up for game three
i can barely see the bourbon drowning next to me
And i just lost it all
well there's a man sittin next to me
Red with smiling eyes
its funny
i don't have no money tonight
yeaaaaaaaahhhhhhh

That was a crazy game of poker
(That was a crazy game of poker)
I lost it all
(I lost it all)
but someday i'll be back again
And I, never to fold.
(never to fold)

Bop bop bop...
I say now skittleedat dat,
Well how bout that?
I'm coming out the front never coming out the back

Well I walked into the bar yesterday
Cause I had something to do, something to say
And Johnny walked in right behind me and I didn't turn around
Til I heard the sound of his feet falling on the ground
I looked over my shoulder and I saw a clown
And I said what'cha doin' in the bar tonight.

So I said Johnny whatcha doing tonight?
He looked at me with a face full of fright
And I said, how bout a revolution?
And he said right.
I say of, you all say a
I say revolution, and you all say jah
I say of, you all say a
I say revolution, and you all say jah jah jah
Jehovah!

And I said, what'cha looking at?
He hit me across the face with a bat
I grabbed my .45 and I said let's get out and go
So he opened the door and said do what you're here for
I said I'm wandering round the road 44
And I said I been walking for about a thousand years.

And my feet are growing tired
My eyes a little wired
Don't know what to do unless I retire
And he just said let's play some crazy poker

So I said Johnny whatcha doing tonight?
He looked at me with a face full of fright
And I said, how bout a revolution?
And he said right.

I said that, was the craziest game of poker that I ever saw
I said that, was the craziest game of poker that I ever saw
But I'm not gonna quit and I'm not gonna stop
Don't give a #&%!$ cause I got the drop
Johnny just got two eyes just like mine
And I'm feeling kinda funky, kinda fine

And I drank a bottle of whiskey, 'fore I came
Came to the bar to see what's the same
I saw my man named Johnny sittin' across the table from me

And to my left was a man, he had no gin
he Didn't even think about starting to sin
The man to my right wasn't feeling very nice
He looked kinda mad and I felt bad
Beacuse I took his money last night it's kinda funny
But now I'm just struggling--
I need a honey-bunny.
I don't know what to say anymore
So I'm just gonna go out, the front door

So I said Johnny whatcha doing tonight?
He looked at me with a face full of fright
And I said, how bout a revolution?
And he said right.
I say of, you all say a
I say revolution, and you all say jah
I say of, you all say a
I say revolution, and you all say jah
I say of, you all say a
I say revolution, and you all say jah
I say of, you all say a
I say revolution, and you all say jah

Looked around

Baby Snakes
Maybe I think they can probably hear me
Pink 'n' wet
I'll take all I can get
Baby
Baby
Sna-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-kes, Yeah

They live in a ho-ho-hole
(Tiny hole)
That is usually empty
(usually empty, tiny too)
They live by a code
(Dit dit dit dit)
That is usually SMPTE
Which stands for
Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers
Maybe I think
That is what keeps them in sync
They're wet 'n' they're pink
I think I'll give 'em a, give 'em a,
Give 'em a drink

Not Violin music
Musician Leaves $3M Violin on Train.... The train was winding toward Washington by then, with the unguarded cargo — a blue cloth case containing a Guarneri del Gesu violin, dated 1730, estimated value $3 million.

AP news story

Now look at that $3 million.

If you started work at today's Federal minimum wage 17 years and 3 months before the Violin was made, and saved every penny.

You could take that violin backpacing with you, of course you would be over 300 years old.

Just out of the infantry this morning
Had to pay my dues across the sea
But no one back in boot camp ever told me
What the readjustment blues would do to me

"Welcome to Havana", said the pilot
"We must've made a wrong turn on the way"
"Let's just buy some cigars and keep it quiet"
"They don't know we're here --- we'll get away"

Just then I realized he was joking
I saw we were in Washington D.C.
'Cause there were all the patriotic buildings
Just like I'd seen them on T.V.

Must've been a holiday, 'cause there was this parade
People carried signs I couldn't read that they had made
'Till I got closer and my heart fell to my socks
There was a battle raging and the air was filled with
Tear-gas and rocks

There was the flag I'd fought against so often
The one I'd fought for was hanging upside down
The wind was blowing hard, the dirt was flying
It made the city sky look dark and brown

I saw a girl, she could have been my sister
Except her hair was long and in her face
She explained this was a demonstration
Against the war and for the human race

Now I've seen a lot of strange things in my travels
Cannibals and aliens galore
But I never thought I'd see so many people
Shouting "We don't want your + + + war!"

The troops all had on uniforms just like the one I'd worn
But they were all domestic and my duty tour was foreign
They carried guns just like the ones across the sea
But this time I was the citizen and they were pointing those guns at me

Yes, I was just a citizen; I was walking along the street
And it was just then that the readjustment blues
Got through to me

It's a real shame that many have not made it through the readjustment___sick, mentally and/or physically. And many are ignored by the government.
