Lor Mckenna... who would be much better known if she toured, but she is a married Mom with four young kids and does not tour.

Well I thought he'd love me forever
How forever is easily said
Oh how love is like liquid
Liquid over my head
All I wanted was to love him
So I gave him my heart
First thing I learned about love is
Things break when you tear them apart

Will you love me when I'm angry?
Will you bring me my spirit when my soul is dry?
Will you give me your forever?
Will you lay down in this fire?

So my dear are you lonely?
Or are you just the lonely type?
The ones who cry with their lovers?
The kind who love out of spite?
Will you love me when I'm angry?
Will you bring me my spirit when my soul is dry?
Will you swallow all my wishes?
Will you lay down in this fire?
Will you lay down in this fire?
I'm not going to ever take way
From the person you're trying to be
So you can stay right there inside yourself
I know everybody wants to be free

Well on the night my lover left me
I did not beg him to stay
Watched a paper bag trying to jump a chain link fence
And I knew he was just blowing away
Will you love me when I'm angry?
Will you bring me my spirit when my soul is dry?
Will you give me your forever?
Will you lay down in this fire?
Will you love me when I'm angry?
Will you bring me my spirit when my soul is dry?
Will you harbor all my vengeance?
Will you lay down in this fire?
Will you lay down in this fire?
Will you lay down in this fire?

Given my experiences in Vegas this week, I thought some Gov't Mule would be in order.

The dealer sits alone in the dark
Cigarette shines on his very last card
Everything he had...
watched it come and go
On a gambler's roll

Cold wind blows a young girl's world apart
She bet it all she bet it all on the jack of hearts
Gained her freedom but lost her soul
On a gambler's roll
On a gambler's roll

You know the gambler he rides...
rides on a fools train
Ah tradin' silver for gold
Oh but his luck will change...
time takes it's toll
On a gambler's roll

The dealer knows...
it's just about his last game
Not even she knows all the sorrow and pain
As the forty-five deals the fatal blow
On a gamblers roll...
on a gamblers roll

You know the gambler he rides...
rides on a fools train
Tradin' silver for gold
Ah but his luck will change...
time takes it's toll
On a gambler's roll...
on a gambler's roll
On a gambler's roll...
on a gamblers roll
On a gamblers... gambler's roll

Jumbo don’t you cry,
Jumbo don’t you cry,
Jumbo this is goodbye,
I ain’t gonna lie,
So wash up your pie,
Wash up you pie,
[there are three things that smell like fish]
Wash up your pie,
[really? What are they?]
Wash up your pie,
[One of them is fish, and the other two are growing on you!]

Vai Archives 2: The Zappa Years. I just don’t know about Zappa. He’s like a mad genius that is so talented and gifted but spends his whole life trying to build the perfect can opener. As much as I hate bands that are all structure and no talent I believe Frank just might have been the antithesis to this, all talent and no structure.

For those of you who do not understand...

Ice Tea has found another two bands to fit into his CD case that he normally reserves for Pink Floyd, Queen, The Godfather soundtrack, Green Day, Mission Impossible and MI-2 soundtracks, Eiffel 65, Star Wars music, The Matrix soundtrack, 3 Doors Down, Nirvana, Creed, Gordon Lightfoot, Neal Young, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. These two bands are Metallica and Boston. Both have great tunes. He loves Metallica's "Fade to Black", as well as the classic "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)". Boston's FM hit "More Than a Feeling" is finally being appreciated by this new generation of listeners.
