RE: Cook sets???
Sassafras, mine has the switch on a little battery box that attaches to the fan unit by wire. My only concern with the Zipp is over the durability of that connection.

Any stainless steel cookware:

put a tablespoon of white vinegar and a cup of water in it and boil (covered). Rinse. Food will stick less and isn't as likely to burn up. Repeat when it starts to stick.

RE: Cook sets???
Sassafras and pekka, yes I bought the pot and the the stove at the same time, about 7 years ago. The pot went with the stove, but as a separate item. It is actually a one-liter pot. Campmor Holiday 2001 Catalog, page 195, has the Stove, the Liter Pot, and the Windshield and Grill as three separate items. The Windshield and Grill is listed at $19.99 plus shipping. You can visit Campmor at http://www.campmor.com or call them at 1-800-226-7667.

I sometimes have made toast on the stove. But, to repeat, I now only carry the pot and cook over a fire or coals. However, on one trek during October I took the stove instead of the pot by mistake. Fortunately, I had a metal, soup dish, so I used the dish as a pot on top of the stove.

I met a man, who had experienced trouble with the base control model. The company replaced it with the remote control model. It used a D sized battery and the fan control had Off, Low and High positions.

D battery? I like the aa! Ours is a bit finicky sometimes, have to wedge a little piece of wood underneath the switch to keep the connection but I think I like the base switch idea better than the wires. They musta changed it for some reason though. I bet when the fan stops the controls are in danger of melting. We are always careful to keep it blowing after we're done cooking for a few minutes. The poor zipstove hasn't been out of the closet since Birch got his Optimus. I hate that thing! It scares me! I envision brass schrapnel coming at me!!!! (I'm always afraid stoves are going to blow up)

We use the small titanium pot for one. We sell them in the store they are around $45.00 they have a lid, the fuel canister fits in one and stove in the other. We love them.
When more than just us two we take the bigger pots...MSR cookset.

Take your ziplock baggie with instant rice in it. Add water. Throw it on the nearest rock. Heats to 115.4 degrees in 1.46 seconds.

What's cook ware?

pshhhhhhhhh (the sound of your water boiling and the steam escaping from your Camelback in Phoenix)
