Wild Oats Market

Anyone use these folks? I talked to them yesterday, because they are gonna help with my challenge cookoff.. Looks like a really nice website (and products) to use some.

Absolutely, TD. They are an excellent source. They are off of Poplar, near Clark Tower.

RE: Wild Oats Market
A little info. on Wild Oats. I helped build a couple of them around the Bay Area. They have a lot of money behind them, and establish some nice facilities.
However, they have had some highly predatory practices.
They moved into my town and tried to shut down the local, (and much loved), natural foods store. This has been the only town to date where they have had to close their store, as far as I know.

RE: Wild Oats Market
I've not heard of these stores in my area. What part of KS do you live in, Dunadan? Did you use to live in the Bay area, and then move to KS?

Dunadan --

Same happened here. The established beloved earthy crunchy market went under very quickly after wild oats came in. They are within 2-3 miles of each other.

Yes, Lyndy, I was in CA for 9 years, and decided to get back, get back, get back to where I once belonged.
It was amazing to see the people of Lawrence rally around their local business. We have quite a few politically active people in this town. Wild Oats was very surprised. Other businesses have had to think about their marketing strategies before moving here.
