I live in Indiana and I am looking for a close, moderate or even harder trail to hike on. preferably something that lasts a month an a half. also i would like some advice as to whats best for this hike.

THe NCT runs further north.

You always have Deam wilderness just south of Bloomington. Good for an overnight trip, not bad for this weekend either. Hike in from Blackwell the long way around to the lake.

The Knobstone is a great hike as well, however a linear trail so you will need to spot cars. Also, will need to hump in water as the trail is always dry, especially this summer.

Temps dropped a little, so I'll be mountain biking. Later on we decided to hike Peachtree rock. Ha, 2 miles, but he said it's a must if you live in Columbia. I guess after over 10 years living here, it's about time.
