It's their spring break next week. I'm guessing my mother in aw took a couple of sick days for them to leave tonight, rather than tomorrow.

I'm spending Saturday, out in the thunderstorms at a koi farm. It's way out in the boonies, on an old farm, and it's great going out there. Maybe I'll remember to bring a treat for the goat that lives there.”

“No new koi fish for me. I did get to play with a friendly chicken, and the goats were all being shy. I got to meet a couple who just joined the club; they just moved to the area, and their house came with a little preform pond with a few goldfish and one koi in it. They've only just gotten the addiction, mua ha ha! I went tooling around the pasture out there, looking at a couple of the mud ponds for koi that didn't get pulled out for display yet. Glad my boots are waterproof. Every time i go out there it rains. I'll need to keep that in mind next time we get a drought.”

Working, though I did get to watch the Penguins beat the Rangers today!!! Made me HAPPY!

Painted the women's bathroom floor tonight with 1 part epoxy takes 24 hours to dry then wax and boy will it look great. Already did the men's room and WOW!”

“i didn't get around to packing the bathroom, but i did clean out two desk cubbies in addition to that drawer. i sorted, washed, dried, folded and hung six loads of laundry! gave about a bag of it away.”

“packed up the entire bathroom. sorted, washed, dried, folded and hung three loads of laundry. gave away another bag. threw out a bunch of shoes. threw out tons of trash. almost done with paperwork and desk. ErinAnne and Kenyan came over and went through her stuff, tossed a bunch out and took the rest away. steve boxed up a lot, gave some tools to Kenyan. BrianSean did a lot in his bedroom. we are starting on our bedroom. i feel like we are getting somewhere with this moving crap, but i'll be really glad when it's finally over.”

do you know i believe i have done something like 17 loads of laundry since i started this? the frustrating thing is seeing stuff come through again after i washed it a week ago, darn you BrianSean! we have an awful lot of sheets and blankets and quilts and towels, but oh my god they are old. a lot of this has been hiding from me. it costs me $2.50 a load in quarters, more if it doesn't dry in the first cycle.”
