“Lol the weekend has been pretty successful so far. Even ran into an old girlfriend from highschool. Now the plain Jane of highschool days is an out and out hottie. At 45 she looks better than most 30 somethings.
Oh well I have to catch a flight.”

“I got a short backpacking trip in Friday & Saturday when the weather was great (cotton t-shirt weather for all you who have to put up with winter). Lots of elevation and views of the ocean. I missed bagging the highest point in the area when the old mining road became too overgrown to follow. Now I'm nursing scratches & poison oak.”

“I'm off for four days in the backcountry of Yosemite. Totally stoked as it is my first backpack in about a year-and-a-half! They just got three feet of fresh pow with maybe a little more on the way and then...SUNSHINE!! Yeaaaaaah, boooyyyyeeeeee. Rum over fresh snow. Mmmmm. Trip report and pics when I return!”

BTW, I'll be attending a fundraising banquet for the Friends of the NRA. They raise money to help various local organizations. Last year they paid for Brownsburg, IN to get a bomb sniffing dog, and donated a great deal of money to the Hendricks County 4H shooting sports program, along with the Boyscouts, and other youth outdoor programs. In the last 5 or 6 years they have raised something like $200K for such things. Not only that but at the banquet they give away quite a few guns, and loads of gear, artwork, jewelery, and home furnishings. It's a blast!
