:-)

Thanks. She's part dingo and we think part kelpie or queensland heeler.

I've seen her change direction in midair while chasing a rabbit.

well steve, we WERE going to drive out there during the summer, but that $$ in savings is going to saving my dog's life instead. Won't be having a vacation this year.

You have a very pretty dog. Looks very friendly :)

What going on with your dog?

I know what ya mean about spending your money on your dog though. We've gone without a few times to get our animals taken care of.

Her kidneys and she has tumors (non cancerous) that HAVE to be removed. One is in her chest affecting her breathing.

We;ve cought the kidney thing in time to take care of it so she should live a good long life---she's 10 now.

Can't let a good dog down :)
Just have to get the tumors out. Surgery schedualed wedensday. Theya re going to flush her kidneys good too at the same time.

The best gift we can give our animals is to make them family and give them the best home we can.

You and Mike can be proud.

Good thoughts and prayers to ya.

I'm on the other side of the state this weekend, visiting my daughter, her boyfriend, their six cats and Freckles the Wonder Dog. We built a beam out of 8 12 ft 2 x 6's that will provide structural support when I knock some walls out in my home. The trick will be transporting it back to my place and getting it into the house without help. I've got some of that figured out; the rest will have to sort of evolve as I'm doing it:)

Just came back home from snowboarding at Grindelwald.
The day started nice, with some blue sky between the clouds and fresh snow, but not too many people on the slopes. Unfortunately all too soon the clouds rolled in and got stuck between the mountains. Total white out. Temperaters plummeted and it got freezing cold. Finaly I broke my snowboards binding.
Well, at least I have been out and did a few good runs before I had to turn around. I think I really manage to get the hang on snowboarding, to the point where it is less hard work and more fun.

The hubby and I went to Charlotte to the Bass Pro Shop...I actually had a nice day, got a manicure & did a dab of shopping!

Tomorrow I'm taking a group to Dupont State Forest for a hike. Should be about 6-8 of us. I'm sure the waterfalls will be busting with all the rain we have had!

we took fourty boys camping, 15 of them were older boys, the instructors. they got the new Scouts through a lot of the beginning stuff. knots & lashings, first aid, flag ceremonies, map & compass, knife & ax, fire building, cooking, internet safety (brand new for 2008), buddy system, probably other stuff, but i can't remember it all. the boys also got the chance to shoot, archery & bb guns. i worked on the bb gun range helping out the rangemaster. i did three Scoutmaster reviews, 1 for 2nd class and two for 1st class. we had a lot of fun, and BrianSean did a great job as instructor; at least that is what i was told by several adults.

Wow Pamela!
We are going the Razorback baseball game this Saturday(we play #8 Georgia) and we rented "The Hogspa" for the game. 50 of our friends and relatives will be joining us. They have this big area by the 3rd base foul pole that no one else can go to and there's a giant hot tub. It's catered and we get to drink. It's a pretty awesome way to watch a game...
