Description
Overnight Circuit from Skyline Drive. Follows a small section of AT, then downhill for 5 miles. Park is really dry, NO FIRES even STOVES. Tough hike out, with a 1000 foot elevation change in 1.2 miles. Lots of wildlife. Deer no more than 8 feet away. Black Bear also(Mom and 2 cubs)

Directions to Hike
Skyline drive to Elkwallow Picnic Ground. Pickup AT across from Picnic grounds. Take a Topo map and compass!!
