Description
We started at about 8700 ft and ended at lofty lake at 10,500. Along the way we saw several mountain lakes, and 2 wolves in the distance playing.
Very Cool.
When we reached the top My brother and I ate our snacks for lunch (GIGO) and I being the younger
bro started a snowball fight with him from a near by patch of
unmelt snow.
After the fun, we sat on the ridge and watched the cumulus (sp?) clouds build over the other Mountains comprising the Uintah Mountain range.
This trail is one of many in NE Utah
that you need
to experience.

Directions to Hike
I believe from SLC
you take I-85 to Cheyanne and get
off at Uintah Nat.
Forest range - $3
