Description
I used the trail as a break-in hike for new equipment. It is an excellent trail to introduce someone to the joys of hiking. It is a loop trail and maps are usually available at the parking area. The trail(s) are adequately marked and joyful. I was surpised with the views and care given to the "woods". However, do not end up with heavy feet and end up catching a deer by surprise. The deer are huge, you'll think you saw a horse.

Directions to Hike
One mile north of Pontiac on state route 23. Turn left on to Rowe Road. Drive four miles and the park entrance is on your right.
