Description
Hopkins Prairie is a beautiful area. The 2004 storms have left much uncleared deadfall but this makes it all the more untraveled. I saw alot of bear scat but no bears. This trip was in Dec. 2007

Directions to Hike
I started out at the Hopkins Prairie campground and headed north. I went as far north as Lake Delancy. There is a nice store along the way about .2 off the trail.
