Description
this hike begins by an amphitheater and continues alongside a creek which, inthe spring, is full of water. Very clearly marked throughout, this trail is what makes Arkansas the Natural State. Continuie away from campgrounds and find the hollow tree and, just about a quarter of a mile later, you get to the natural bridge. Be careful if the water is running fast around here as the drop is pretty rough. Go up a hill to the fist huge cave or continue up the side of the mountain to the bat cave. To get to to the main cave, (bring a flashlight and go during the middle of the day while the inhabitants are asleep),go towards the back and enter the second large entrance. You will probably have to duck very low for appx. 25 meters andthe cave will open back up. Head left to main bat cave with spectacular indoor waterfall.

Directions to Hike
Located in the Buffalo National Forest, Find Ponca and go south on Hwy. 43 towards Boxley. Find Lost Valley Campground and continue to the very back where trailhead begins.
